Three of the greatest things have come together under one roof on Mill Avenue. Hand crafted bread bowl soups, amazing drink specials, and team trivia… for those of you who do not hold these simple life pleasures near and dear, Bison Witches also serves up sandwiches the size of your head and a great atmosphere. Although we do not have many bone chilling days in the Valley of the Sun, sometimes a comforting bowl of steaming soup sounds good. Bison Witches is the place to cure what ails you. Although this local diamond in the rough originated in Tucson, it should not be held against them, there is not a trace of smelly wildcat stench in the place and it is usually filled with Sun Devils everyday of the week.
Bison Witches is just the spot to pull up a seat in the roomy booths and enjoy a nice casual lunch or a few of the craft brews with friends. On any given day, Bison Witches serves up insane specials on the awesome food and beverage. If you have an addictive personality and are looking for a new vice, may I suggest the Green Turkey sandwich and Potato Bacon soup? The Green Turkey includes your choice of bread piled high with thin slices of moist turkey, avocado slices, bacon, cream cheese, mayo, sprouts, and topped off with house made salsa. Finish off your half Sammy and Soup combo with a bread bowl of delicious Potato Bacon soup. This creamy potato soup is just like mom used to make chock full of thick bacon bites and veggies. You have been warned that this newfound dependence may end with a twelve-step program that will slowly convert your taste buds to other menu items.
Bison Witches is not only a great place for lunch but is also serving up the best deals on Mill Avenue day in and day out. Often tap beers are only $3 and cocktails won’t break the bank either. Unlike other gourmet delis, Bison Witches appreciates the hardship of a college student’s budget, lunch will be under ten dollars and your belly won’t be grumbling for more in that late afternoon class. Get out and support a great local restaurant, the friendly staff always appreciates a hungry mouth to feed!
